Laboratorium EE helped in answering the question of what impact do fees have on broadband deployment.
Lane occupancy fees are a significant factor in the cost of building broadband infrastructure. These fees are set by municipalities, which adopt different strategies - some view this as a source of potential (one-time) revenue, while others lower them in an effort to promote Internet access.
We prepared an analysis of lane occupancy cost data for a client. We combined this data with other external data sources to determine the impact of different fee levels. We prepared a microsite https://swiatlowodywgminach.pl with analyses and interactive visualizations.
An interactive data analysis report is more attractive, engaging and makes it easier to communicate key findings than traditional reports.
