The service was created to make it easier for Poles to reach cheap, high quality cultural offer. Our task was to disseminate knowledge about low-budget, i.e. costing less than 20 PLN, cultural events that take place all over Poland.
We used an extensive Elasticsearch search engine to facilitate the search of programs of cultural institutions from all over the country, on the kulturadostepna.pl portal. This solution is ideal for working with huge databases and full text search. We have also applied geolocation solutions on the website, which allowed us to present users with ways to spend free time in their place of residence or during trips to another city. By linking the databases of institutions from all over the country, we managed to create a complete platform. In the service we also used the option of suggesting events, and for event organisers we introduced a poster generator and leaflet generator.
