The owners of websites which feature long, complex reads often do not pay enough attention to the visual aspects of their platforms. In theory, this shouldn’t be meaningful, as their main asset is textual content, not graphic design. However, clarity and usability is no longer a whim of graphic designers, but becomes a must.
For this reason, Eurozine website, which had been online in an unchanged form for the past 2 decades, had to be redesigned from the scratch. Eurozine is a platform that aggregates content created by editors of socio-political magazines from several dozen countries. We created a website taking into account several key features, i.e full responsiveness, tagging of content and introducing sorting criteria. The new version of the website was published in February 2017.
